SB 830 - This act authorizes the Director of the Division of Youth Services or his designee to issue an arrest warrant for an offender who: 1) has violated the terms of his suspended sentence; 2) has committed a new offense; 3) is deemed by the Director to be beyond the scope of the treatment program; or 4)has escaped or run away from the facility.
The act is similar to a provision in SB 264 (1999).
